I can’t quite pinpoint how I get so lucky with my clients; how I, as a rule, have people find me that are so incredibly lovely that I could really have them as friends almost instantaneously. I really do try and present myself as honestly and authentically as possible and I just feel so great about receiving back what I’m putting out there. Caron and Chris traveled from Edmonton and are getting married in Canmore at the Iron Goat in October.
It was a warmer afternoon than most this January and I chose the Cochrane Ranche House grounds as the location for this engagement session. I love the little bridges, rolling hills and the open pine forest that surrounds the ranche. And of course, the views of the mountains are spectacular, which I thought was a nice addition since their wedding is in the rocky mountains. The first few moments of a session are always a little tentative but I love seeing the progression to just purely being themselves. Caron and Chris brought along their three dogs, it’s a blended family 🙂 not including the new puppy. My favourite moment was seeing how patient the older dogs were with the puppy, we’ve definitely all been there, dogs or otherwise. I loved finding a new little spot that showcased the glorious mountains, I hope you enjoy these photographs as much as I do!
