I’ve talked about trust a lot and how important it is for a couple to trust their photographer. As we waded through waist deep thistle and unexpected and hidden potholes, I chuckled to myself about how maybe there should be less trust (but only in this one time, very specific decision!)… Oh and I especially loved when Eric and Amy climbed the hill we were trying to get to and let me know there was a pathway right below. Oh man. Trust. It’s huge. And I so appreciate Amy and Eric, and all my couples for that matter, going along with my vision. To see my brides hitch up their dresses and my grooms navigate slippery dress shoes and hike terrain like it’s no big deal makes me so happy. And proud- which I feel has to do with the fact that I’m happy they seem to get me and my enthusiasm for particular shots. Amy and Eric’s engagement session in Fish Creek down in south Calgary, pretty much had everything that I could ask for. A couple who is adventurous and fun, glowy gorgeous light, fall leaves and a big ol Lion King tree. The tree was the surprise and all of us were wowed by its magnificence. It was a surprise to see it growing practically in the middle of nowhere and it was such a cool experience to work with it. The fall leaves are falling rapidly now but at least I can look at this photographs and remember how pretty it was. Enjoy!

These are gorgeous! Hope its not snowing for you guys in Calgary yet! π
