The Calgary weather is a source of disdain this spring and a hot topic of conversation. As I sat and edited these images for my blog, there was a massive electrical storm, one that made me feel glad I was inside and also not guilty that I wasn’t outside enjoying what could have been a rare beautiful summer day. Luckily for Ashlyn and Chris, Saturday June 19 was just lovely. Bright sunshine (although not my favourite, but better than a downpour) made the summer colours pop and the eyes of everyone, including the bride and groom, absolutely sparkle. So many great things happened this day; I had the pleasure of working with my second shooter Blair from Blair Marie photography, I discovered some terrific new locations which included a serendipitous find of those Ahhhhmaazzzzinnnggg concrete circles. The pictures are simply stunning! Chris and Ashlyn dropped by last night and we sat through the whole disc. So many happy memories captured on film! Beautiful, and show stopping; every single shot. Can’t thank you enough for perfect pictures.
