When 2012 was nearing, there were lots of comments about saying good riddance to 2011. I get that, some years are definitely better than others. For me though, 2011 was by far one of my most favourite EVER. And that’s including my personal and professional lives. Coming into 2012, I feel really alive, like I can conquer anything and I hope to continue to ride that feeling well into the future. 2011 was a very cool year. I traveled A LOT. My wedding photography took me to Whonnock Lake in beautiful British Columbia, brought me back home to the city and the mountains numerous times and sent me allllll the way to Scotland and Vermont. This year I witnessed not one, but TWO proposals; one of them was my own brother’s, the other I can’t share yet. I’ve met so many beautiful families and couples and have loved being included in their lives. If 2012 is anything like 2011, well, bring it on!
